A while ago the wonderful team at Seasalt Cornwall invited me to show them how to create a beautiful pressed flower artwork, hanging in a floating glass frame.
I love the quality of pressed flowers, it seems steeped in nostalgia for me, as I used to constantly find pressed flowers floating out of pages between books where I would put them for safe keeping as a child- something which has continued throughout my life honestly. There’s something so beautiful about the quality of them- for instance primroses- almost translucent and paper like in preservation.
